Kent Stanton, a Pensacola songwriter, artist, incredibly kind soul, fellow wingnut, and a man I was lucky enough to call a friend wrote this song as well as scores of other beautiful tunes. I sincerely implore you to seek his work out. Sadly, Kent passed a few weeks ago. I learned this song of his to play at his video memorial, and just for Pensacola, I strapped on and dusted off my trusty, rusty, ancient harp, and recorded this version for later use. I'm really missing my Pensacola peeps and the (mostly) incredible times we had right now, and I'm feeling fortunate to have a few that can still call me friend. Be good to your people, and be good to yourself. XOXO
